Saturday 21st November - KATIE SPENCER
Katie was born and raised in East Yorkshire and her songwriting, and most notably her guitar playing, stem from a time when the steel-stringed instrument was truly finding its voice. Artists like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and perhaps most evidently Michael Chapman, flow into her sound, carrying with them the warmth and idealism of the early 70’s folk and songwriter movements.
Katie’s latest album What Love Is was released in October 2025 and is an intimate collection of ten brand-new songs produced by Matt Ingram (Laura Marling, The Staves). It reached #12 in the Official Folk Albums Chart upon release and went on to win “Album of the Year” in FATEA Magazine.
Saturday 7th November - HENRY PARKER
Parker’s two acclaimed solo records, Silent Spring and Lammas Fair, have led him to share stages with the dearly missed folk legends Wizz Jones and Michael Chapman and progressive-rock royalty Soft Machine, placing him firmly in a world where finger-style folk guitar meets psychedelic aspirations.
His collaborative instrumental album with David Ian Roberts, Chasing Light, reached the UK Folk Charts Top 20 and saw the duo perform at FolkEast Festival in 2025, appearing alongside artists such as Steve Tilston and Bridget St John on a stage curated in tribute to the late 60’s and early 70’s folk revival.
Friday 23rd October - ANNIE DRESSNER
Annie Dressner is a singer-songwriter, originally from New York City but now living in Cambridge, UK. Saturday 26th September - DAN WEBSTER & EMILY LAWLER
Dan Webster and Emily Lawler deliver a compelling transatlantic blend of Americana, country, folk, and roots.
Dan is a road-seasoned English singer-songwriter and guitarist, whose music is influenced by the sounds and storytelling traditions of Americana, which he uniquely melds with an honest Northern English perspective in his songwriting.
At his side, Emily Lawler brings extraordinary fiddle work shaped by Celtic, country and folk influences, along with soaring harmonies that add richness and depth to the duo's sound. She started playing the guitar and writing songs during lockdown and is now gigging as a singer-songwriter around the UK - an exciting emerging talent.
Saturday 12th September - ENDA KENNY
Enda Kenny is an Irish-born songwriter who has made his home in Australia. Through ten independent albums, his thoughtful, descriptive stories have struck a chord with audiences worldwide.
A string of early songwriting awards have led to a full time career as one of the best entertainers in the world of folk and acoustic music. His songs are always memorable, often hard-hitting and spiced with plenty of humour.
